Production Manager: The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in coordinating the production and fulfillment of sales orders. Working closely with the Floor Manager, you will coordinate all facets of sales orders; sourcing the fiber, preparing bids and invoices, all facets of scheduling the production of materials, packaging finished materials and scheduling the shipping. Your expertise in customer relations, coordinating the production and logistics will be essential in delivering a top-notch experience to our valued clients.
Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Floor Manager, you will coordinate all facets of sales orders; sourcing the fiber, preparing bids and invoices, all facets of scheduling the production of materials, packaging finished materials and scheduling the shipping. Responsibilities:
- Work as a team with the Floor Manager and Office Manager to efficiently coordinate the production of sales orders.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customer base. Efficiently gather detailed sales order information, address inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Order Processing: Accurately process sales orders, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented, and accurately conveyed to the Floor Manager. Collaborate with the production team to confirm production schedules.
- Production Oversight: Collaborate closely with the Floor Manager to monitor production progress, ensuring that orders are processed within specified timelines. Address any issues or delays proactively to minimize disruptions.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate packaging and shipping activities for completed orders. Work closely with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
- Sales Reporting: Generate regular sales reports to track sales performance, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Foster an upbeat collaborative and positive work environment that encourages growth and development. Qualifications:
- Proven experience of at minimum one year in sales management, preferably within a wood reman mill manufacturing environment. Training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in sales order processing and logistics coordination.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
